J-Life Custom Shikifuton Covers are made to order by skilled craftsmen using high-quality imported fabrics.

These tightly woven covers are designed to protect your futon and keep it clean. Featuring a zipper on the side, our futon covers are easily removable for washing in cold water.

This shikibuton cover is handcrafted by our team here in the USA from 100% cotton fabric imported from Japan. This style is decorated with a vibrant multicolored dragonfly pattern. Katsumushi (勝虫), meaning "victory insect," is a Japanese nickname for the dragonfly.

Originating from the samurai era, the term reflects some of the dragonfly's admired traits, such as cunning, fearlessness, and agility, which the warriors sought to emulate.

Sizes

Futon covers are available in five sizes (see chart below) and three thicknesses to suit our various Japanese futon mattresses. Available in 3", 4" and 5" mattress thickness sizes.
