Collection: Igo Fabric Collection

The Igo fabric features a blue and white checkerboard or quilt-like pattern composed of various traditional Japanese patterns such as asanoha, shippo, and kanoko. This fabric is imported from Japan and made of 100% cotton.

The name Igo (囲碁) is inspired by the strategy board game of the same name, which utilizes a grid-style board similar to a checkerboard. Originating in China over 4,000 years ago, Igo (or “Go”) spread throughout East Asia, where it remains popular, and eventually gained worldwide popularity.
