J-Life Custom Shikifuton Covers are made to order by skilled craftsmen using high-quality imported fabrics.

These tightly woven covers are designed to protect your futon and keep it clean. Featuring a zipper on the side, our futon covers are easily removable for washing in cold water.

This shikibuton cover is handcrafted by our team here in the USA from 100% cotton fabric imported from Japan. This unique fabric features a blue and white checkerboard pattern composed of various traditional Japanese patterns. The name Igo (囲碁) is inspired by the strategy board game that is popular in Japan. It utilizes a grid-style board similar to a checkerboard.

Sizes

Futon covers are available in five sizes (see chart below) and three thicknesses to suit our various Japanese futon mattresses. Available in 3", 4" and 5" mattress thickness sizes.
