Great cotton
I haven't started my project yet, though I do obviously plan to soon. I love the fabric, though I do have a few complaints: first, and least important, it's less heavy than the yukata fabrics I've ordered elsewhere. Second, it's darker than pictured, though I'm sure it'll lighten when I wash it. Third, and this part is the reason I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5: it looks like the whole thing has been cut in half lengthwise. There's a whole three yards like I ordered, but there's only one selvage, which makes no sense, as I was expecting it to have been cut off a bolt and I've never seen fabric sold with only one selvage. Again, this probably won't affect my project, because I typically order extra just in case I make mistakes, but it does bother me. If I was planning to make a kimono, haori, or yukata it wouldn't even matter, though I'd still be confused. Otherwise, the fabric is beautiful. It's a typical stock cotton, perfect for summer, and it's really soft. It's a lovely dark burnt orange color, with waves that are a really pretty off-white that from afar look a little yellow or light orange, and then pattern is just fantastic. If you're not picky about the weirdly cute edge I definitely recommend buying this fabric.
