Matcha Bowl - Snow

In Japan, tea is much more than just a warm beverage. Tea holds great significance throughout Japanese culture, which is made evident by the popularity of tea amongst members of Shintoism and Zen Buddhism, as well as the centuries-old ritual of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

This beautifully simple white Japanese matcha bowl is specially designed for enjoying a warm cup of matcha the traditional way. Matcha is made in a bowl rather than a mug to make it easier to stir the matcha using a bamboo whisk, and should be slowly sipped using both hands.

Bowl measures approximately 4.5" D x 3" H.

Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Made of hand glazed ceramic. Please note that given the nature of pottery, color and shape may vary slightly.
